WHY WE'RE OBSESSED
It makes website weight visible in the funniest possible way: as a leaderboard where the tiniest pages get to sit at the cool table.
The list is useful as inspiration if you want to remember that a web page can load quickly, say what it came to say, and leave without bringing a moving truck full of JavaScript.
1MB Club is a gentle dare. It asks every bloated page on the internet to explain why it needed to arrive wearing seventeen megabytes of luggage.
