OUR RATING

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

WHY WE'RE OBSESSED

The power of the collection is that everything in it is real. 'How to Talk to Your Cat About Gun Safety' is a real book. 'Goblinproofing One's Chicken Coop' is a real book. 'Scouts in Bondage' is a real book from 1930. Nothing was invented for comedic effect because nothing needed to be.

It gets out of the way and lets the covers do the work. No captions, no ironic framing, no commentary. Any description you could add would be worse than the title already printed on the spine, and whoever built this understood that.

There is a specific editorial eye at work here. The collection avoids merely bad design and goes after books where the subject matter itself is the bewildering thing. Someone chose each of these carefully, which makes the gallery feel like something earned rather than just a screenshot dump.
