OUR RATING
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
WHY WE'RE OBSESSED
It captures the very specific joy of channel surfing through holiday television on a machine that probably weighs more than a small microwave.
The remote, the TV frame, the posters, and the fuzzy embedded video all push the same button: old media nostalgia with tinsel on it.
Betamaxmas is fun because it does not just play clips. It builds a little living room around them and lets the season leak through the screen.
