A WebGL interactive new year greeting from French creative agency Make Me Pulse, where you hold a button to progress through a sequence of geometric animations. It is a tech demo wearing a party hat.

WHY WE'RE OBSESSED
The entire experience rests on holding a button. Not clicking it, not dragging it — holding it, for sustained periods, while something geometric and expensive-looking unfolds in front of you. It is a strange interaction to commit to for a new year greeting, and yet it works completely.
The visuals are the kind of thing a digital agency puts in their showreel at full resolution with dramatic music. Make Me Pulse just put it on a URL and called it a holiday card. Large portions of the web do not look this good in 2025, let alone when this was built.
It is also just a genuinely beautiful thing. The shapes are precise, the transitions are considered, and the whole experience has the pacing of something that was not rushed. You hold the button and the world inside the screen does something new every time. That is the whole pitch and it is enough.
