OUR RATING

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

WHY WE'RE OBSESSED

Every element - the tram, the elevated bridge, the water below, the distant peaks - is rendered in detailed pencil illustration. It looks like someone spent months drawing a single long panorama and then wrote just enough code to let you scroll through it at tram speed. The whole thing runs in a browser with no installation and no instructions beyond 'hold left or right to move.'

The interaction model is about as minimal as it gets: you hold a key and the tram moves. There is no score, no destination you're racing to reach, no failure state. You're just a cat driving a tram through a pencil-drawn world, which is a sentence that accurately describes the entire experience.

Alexander Perrin has since released a paid version on Steam with additional features, but the free web version has been here the whole time, unchanged, doing exactly what it was built to do. The Steam widget on the page says 'cats with places to be,' which is the most accurate four-word summary of any game we have seen.
