Wiby

Wiby is useful in the specific way a normal search engine often is not. It is tuned for small, personal, older-style sites instead of making you wrestle past piles of commercial sludge.

The homepage is almost aggressively minimal: a search box, a lighthouse, and a 'surprise me' link. That simplicity is not nostalgia wallpaper; it matches the kind of web it is trying to surface.

It feels like a tool for wandering rather than optimizing. When you want the internet to be weirder, quieter, and more human, Wiby does the job.
